Snapshots reflects twelve dialogues without beginning or end, held between twenty-four characters, inhabitants of the outskirts of a city, at some point in their lives, always marked by incommunication and time lost in the era of access to information and immediacy.
Miguel Angel Mengó Lloret is the director and scriptwriter of Quiero volver a casa. He was born In October 18, 1981. He is graduated in Film studios by La Escuela de Cine de Valencia Nucine, and specialized in Digital cinema by La Escuela Off de Teatro y Cine.
As a director, producer, screenwriter and editor, he has made four short films (such as Retrato de Sombras, Los ojos cerrados and La verdad sobre Alicia), four documentaries (including one shot during the Festival de Cine de San Sebastian, Pequeños detalles sobre las fronteras) and several videos clips (for Valencians groups like El Ser Humano, Nube9, Lauda or Adrian Levi, and other national groups, such as Detergente Líquido), which have been selected at local festivals such as Radio City and other nationals, where his short films have won three awards.
